iPhone® Photography

Since its inception, many of my photos have been taken with an iPhone®. Mobile phones are handy for photography due to their convenience and accessibility. Their portability ensures that a camera is always at hand, enabling spontaneous capture of moments. Advanced camera technology, user-friendly interfaces, and a myriad of photography apps make mobile phones versatile tools for capturing, editing, and instantly sharing images. I like to experiment with iPhone® photography. Using techniques usually associated with a dedicated camera, such as long exposures with third party apps, or using the built-in Portrait Mode, is fun, and oftentimes result in very unique, visually pleasing shots. I tend to shoot in Apple ProRAW format. With better dynamic range, I can recover shadows and highlights and have better control over colour grading in post processing, much like with Raw files from DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
